Who We Are
Empower 'n Thrive helps youth and young adults ages 16–21 build the confidence, skills, and stability needed to transition into independent, purposeful lives. Through comprehensive, hands-on programs, mentorship, and community engagement, we guide young people from adolescence through adulthood.
Founded to address critical gaps in youth services throughout Jacksonville, we provide consistent, hands-on support that doesn't end when you turn 18. We're here for the long haul—your success is our success.

Who We Serve
Youth Who Need Us Most
Empower 'n Thrive serves youth and young adults ages 16–21 throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas. We prioritize reaching young people in high-need, low-income communities, shelters, and youth crisis centers.
We especially focus on supporting:
  • Youth aging out of foster care
  • Young people transitioning from group homes
  • Homeless and housing-insecure youth
  • Those from under-resourced neighborhoods

Learn the practical skills you need to thrive on your own: budgeting and financial literacy, meal planning and cooking, transportation navigation, household management and maintenance, and time management strategies.

Get paired with a dedicated mentor who will guide you through goal-setting, skills development, and life transitions. Your mentor isn't just a contact—they're your advocate, cheerleader, and trusted advisor.

Whether you're finishing high school, pursuing your GED, considering college, or exploring vocational training, we provide guidance, resources, job readiness training, employment placement assistance, and professional networking opportunities.

Housing Support & Transitional Guidance
Navigate the complex world of housing with confidence. We help with finding safe, affordable housing, understanding contracts and leases, preparing for independent living, and successfully transitioning from foster care or group homes.
